Super Mario dry transfer test

So I got the special edition Super Mario 25th Anniversary DSi XL not too long ago; and since then I've been trying to come up with some packaging for it. I want a custom themed travel box to store and protect the unit as well as the charger, stylus, game cartridges and whatever other accessories I want to travel with. So I've been thinking of how to customize this whole set into one concise theme related unit; and here's my first step.

I found this nice red (24 cartridge) holder by Hori to match the red of everything else, but it's still kinda plain, so to spice it up I'm using a dry transfer system to make a decal for the box.

The top image is what I'm looking to have as a final product, though it's only photoshopped. The lower images are tests I've done so far. It's not a perfect system, but I think with a little more practice it should come out pretty nice. It's a fairly simple process once you get used to it.
